Whole Foods Sets Natural Care Standards

It looks like Whole Foods is entering the dangerous waters of standards and consumer information.

According to today's Food Marketng Institute Daily Lead newsletter, there's an article on CosmeticsDesign.com about Whole Foods engaging in a new consumer education campaign on surfactants and preservatives in beauty products.

"Products awarded the standard must contain only the mildest of preservatives such as potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate, that have been shown to function well but are less likely to cause allergic reactions, explain the company."
