This is the first blog I ever started. It dates back to 2005, which is when Blogger wasn't owned by Google! That's how old this blog is ^^
Mostly, this is my personal blog, so you can expect a mish-mash of topics and tones, depending on what I'm doing and how I'm feeling...and what I read/do.
This blog is the genesis for my other five blogs. I saw a pattern of particular themes in various posts on this blog, which I then spun off into themed blogs of their own!
I live in Aurora, Illinois with my husband of 9 years and favorite pooch, Benny (a very nervous adopted Beagle). I'm a trilingual professional with over 11 years experience as an editor, writer, publication project coordinator, and project manager by day, and also am a freelance writer and translator to help supplement my income.
I'm a voracious reader and somewhat of a social media fiend. If I'm not blogging, or online, you can find me learning about one of my latest hobbies or obsessions.

I'm very happy and proud to say that I completed my Masters in Written Communications from National-Louis University. I always wanted to have a higher degree, and after two years of very hard work while working full time and commuting, I was able to achieve one of my dreams.
I am also a budding apparel designer on Zazzle.com (Alternative Humor Apparel) and own a start-up communications company (Four Tongues Communications) that manages my freelancing opportunities specializing in writing, editing, and translation.
